New Delhi, 18th October 2014: An Indian wedding is no longer just about the rituals, the food, ensemble and the festivities. These days, among Indians, it’s also about an exotic destination. In an initiative to promote Mauritius as a preferred luxury wedding destination, OM Luxe and Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority (MTPA), associated with India’s famous couturier Charu Parashar, to preset her Bridal Couture 2014/15 collection, today at Eros Hotel. Charu Parashar showcased the best of trends and designs in bridal couture, inspired by the Mauritian landscape, that enhanced the visibility of Mauritius as a Wedding Destination. Mauritius, with its spectacular white-sand beaches, turquoise sea, beautiful mountains that seemingly rise up from the crystal clear waters of the Indian Ocean, serves as an ideal place to say “I do” in style, in an exclusive way, while surrounded by friends and family.
Talking about the luxury event, Managing Partner of OM Luxe, Vasudha Sondhi, said, “OM Luxe aims to bring specialized travel experiences to a larger audience in India through associations with lifestyle events. The Evening also witnessed to-be brides walking the ramp in Charu Parashar’s Bridal Couture collection, out of, one whom won a honeymoon trip to Mauritius and another a bridal ensemble from Charu’s collection.
