Visit Indonesia Tourism Office, in association with Marriott Hotels and ICS Travel, had recently organized a Travel Agent familiarization trip to Bali from Western India. Some of the highlights of the trip were Sunset Dinner Cruise, Bali Marine Safari, Tanah Lot Sunset Tour, Ubud Tour including a visit to the Goa Gajah Temple.

As an endeavour to promote Mauritius as a golfing destination, MTPA India sponsored “The Summer Trophy” Golf tournament at the Unitech Golf Club in Delhi on 20th June. The event, with nearly one hundred players from top corporates in Delhi was organized in collaboration with GolfLan. The day-night tournament, which finished under floodlights, had prizes in three handicap categories. In addition to the prizes winners, eight lucky draw winners walked away with MTPA branded Srixxon golf bags.

Mauritius bagged the Best All-Season International Destination for TODAY’S TRAVELLER AWARD 2014, at the 8th Today’s Traveller Awards on September 16, 2014 at the Ashok Hotel, New Delhi. The Honorable, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Tourism & Culture, Government of India, Sri Shripad Yesso Naik, handed over the award to Mr Vivek Anand, Country Manager, Mauritius Tourism.
